I am an IMG from Ecuador and started my USMLE journey right after completing medical school.... I used to think to myself "It is not over until I win!" and kept going.

In my journey of my exam prep, I always wanted to learn more about the exam, about the process behind it and more importantly about the profession itself.

After all, becoming and being a doctor, one does not save a person’s life alone, it needs the knowledge, helping hands, skills, teaching, communication and teamwork to save a patient's life.

Keep going, keep dreaming, keep pushing yourself every day because in the end tiny little drops of water is what makes the ocean.

If I can do it, you DEFINITELY can do it!

My Step 1 equation- ‘Hard work + perseverance+ prayer= Success’

The USMLE journey requires a lot of determination and perseverance especially for international medical graduates. My aim is to make this journey a little more easier for them.

Discipline + Commitment + Some motivation = easier USMLE journey. The dream will be Reality. Let’s get into it!

'Perseverance is the key.' I believe it's my turn to give back.

There will be days where you will feel like walking away from this journey, or days where you will feel like a failure. In those days, remember your “WHY?”

The constant reminder of ‘Why I started this journey’ and ‘remembering the love for medicine’ helped me significantly.

Sometimes you just want to give up and stop your routine, but I encourage you that if you don't align with the plan change it! But never change your goal.

My journey to medical school involved strong determination, perseverance, and resilience. Like many others, my USMLE journey was no cakewalk.

This was not a smooth journey, I managed to work, study, and do my college work at the same time.

My zeal is to teach people and help build a network for international medical graduates.

In my tutoring sessions, I incorporate both intense content review and detailed test-taking strategies to improve the fund of knowledge and clinical reasoning skills of students.

5 years from now you tell yourself. “I am proud of my version who did not give up”.
